Album Release Party: Blindsmyth ‘Blind’ w. AFAR & Holographic Field
On the 9th of February ‘BLIND’ the first full length album by Blindsmyth will be released. The 10 track LP takes the recipient on a voyage through electronic soundscapes, delicate beats and expressive vocals. His performance will be supported by Holographic Field and AFAR, two luminous live acts on the horizon. The night will be rounded off by the Cosmic Society family.

BLINDSMYTH is a musical globetrotter from Berlin. His live performances mark a return to his initial artistic impulse: The creation of unexpected and unique moments – enhanced by his live singing and the bamboo, sax which he plays on stage. His setup of self-built electronic instruments and controllers combined with modern music technology allows him to freely switch between a highly recognizable interpretation of his original material and free improvisation.
AFAR seeks to bridge the distance between the natural and the industrial, exploring the paradox between organic and electronic. In some spaces, AFAR might build dance-oriented rhythms layered with haunting vocals. Whereas in others, the band creates moments of ambience composed of multi-instrumental soundscapes.
HOLOGRAPHIC FIELD is the soloproject of the Pianist and Producer Jonas Meyer, based in Berlin. He is also involved in the post rock band Frames and in the ambient project Unland.
In his debut „Window Gazer“, he combines his different musical backgrounds and inspirations. A mesh up between epic ambiences, clubby electronica, neo-classical and postrock elements. Dreamy landscapes meet their gloomy complement, always between dark and bright, near and far searching their balance.
